Spenser's Legacy Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit all-volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue of lost, abandoned, sick, abused, feral, and stray animals (domestic, farm, or wild) in the Fayetteville, Arkansas area.
Description:
Spenser's Legacy Animal Rescue is a no-kill, non-profit animal rescue organization that rescues abandoned, abused, neglected, and feral (wild) animals that might otherwise be left to fend for themselves and to suffer from illness, injury, or starvation.
One of our goals is to educate the public on the importance of responsible animal care, with a strong emphasis on spaying and neutering their pets in order reduce the number of animals that are euthanized every week at nearby facilities.
Another of our goals is to educate prospective and current pet owners about animal behavior. Many animals are surrendered to shelters or abandoned because the owners are frustrated with behavior problems that may be the result of a medical problem, a failure to train, or the owner just doesn't understand the normal behavior of that animal.
