About Make a Difference Day
Make a Difference Day (MADD) is one of the university’s largest service events, offering students the chance to engage directly with local nonprofits and community organizations. In 2024, the initiative brought together more than 700 student volunteers, who contributed over 1,800 hours of service, resulting in more than $35,000 in economic impact to the region.
How to Participate
The VAC invites all students to participate, whether by signing up to volunteer or applying to serve as a Project Leader. Project Leaders play a vital role by helping coordinate volunteers and serving as the main point of contact for each service site.
