
Cassidy Burba
Chair
Cassidy Burba serves as the chair for Dream B.I.G. Cassidy is a senior majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Spanish. She grew up in Van Buren, AR and has been involved in the VAC as a P.A.L. mentor and as a Dream B.I.G. mentor! Last year, she served as one of the Matching Coordinators for Dream BIG. Cassidy is excited to continue cultivating a safe space for girls to be authentically themselves, as well as promoting collaboration within the Dream BIG team. She loves being a part of the VAC board and working with such inspiring members of the community.

Marta Balconi
Intern
Marta Balconi serves as the Dream B.I.G. Intern. She is a junior majoring in Psychology and Philosophy with a minor in Japanese. Marta is from Bergamo, Italy and she first got involved with the VAC her freshman year as a Dream B.I.G. Mentor. In the previous year she served as the Matching Coordinator for Dream B.I.G. The Volunteer Action Center has helped Marta find her passion for mentorship and for serving the community in an impactful way.

Anna Kreamer
Matching Coordinator
Anna serves as the Matching Coordinator for the Dream BIG, Volunteer Action Center Program. She is a senior, majoring in Social Work with minors in Child Advocacy and Legal Studies. Anna is from Kansas City and has loved getting to spend the past three years as a student on The Hill. Anna first started volunteering with the Dream BIG program her freshman year as a mentor and has been actively involved since. She joined the Dream BIG board this year and is excited to invest in the program through her new role. Being involved with the Volunteer Action Center has helped Anna give back to the Northwest Arkansas community and has deepened her passion for investing in the younger generation.

Alexa Roldan
Matching Coordinator
Alexa serves as the Dream B.I.G coordinator. She is a Junior majoring in Political Science with minors in Legal Studies and Medical Humanities. Alexa is from Bentonville, Arkansas and she first got involved with the VAC her freshman year during Make a Difference Day! Last year, Alexa served as a Dream B.I.G mentor where she fell more in love with the program and its mission. Alexa loves being involved with the VAC because she’s able to be apart of the positive impact in her community with other VAC members who share that same passion.

Ada Norcross
Curriculum Coordinator
Ada serves as the Curriculum Coordinator for Dream Big. She is a junior, majoring in Biology and Psychology. Ada is from Harrison, AR, and spent her childhood cheering on the hogs. She volunteered her freshman and sophomore years as a mentor for Dream Big. This year marks her first as a board member. Ada loves being involved with the VAC because she has witnessed the first-hand impacts that volunteering and mentorship have had within her community.

Ainsley Warford
Curriculum Coordinator
Ainsley serves as the Dream B.I.G. Curriculum Coordinator for the Volunteer Action Center. She is a sophomore majoring in Biology on the Pre-Medical track and in Music. Ainsley is from Bryant, AR, and first became involved with the VAC as a freshman when she applied to the Dream B.I.G. board. In past years, she has served her community through the National Honors Society, Beta Club, Arkansas Symphony Youth Orchestra, and the Our Songs Project. Ainsley loves being involved with the VAC because it gives her an outlet for her passion towards community service and allows her to devote time and energy into long term community service goals.

Mia Jordan
Communications Coordinator
Mia serves as the Dream B.I.G. Communications Coordinator. She is a sophomore at the U of A studying Biology on the Pre-Dental track. Mia is from New Orleans, Louisiana and became involved with the VAC to continue her love of serving her community. She chose this position to show women’s empowerment, confidence, and the joyous feelings of mentorship with photography and graphic design. Mia loves being part of the Dream B.I.G. team and is excited for all that’s ahead!

Michelle Calderon
ELL Coordinator
Michelle serves as the ELL Coordinator for the Dream B.I.G. program. She is a junior, majoring in public health with a minor in medical humanities. Michelle is from Rogers, AR, and always hoped she would end up at the University of Arkansas. She was first involved with the Volunteer Action Center as a Dream B.I.G mentor and fell in love with the impact of the program. Michelle joined the board during her junior year as the ELL coordinator, wanting to build an inclusive and welcoming program for all young girls who wanted to be part of Dream B.I.G. Michelle has a passion for community and making sure everyone has a place where they feel they belong. The Volunteer Action Center is the perfect place to meet amazing people and make a difference in our communities.

Alandrea Griffith
Logistics Coordinator
Alandrea serves as the Logistics Coordinator for Dream B.I.G. She is a junior majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Rhetoric and Writing Studies. Alandrea is from Little Rock, Arkansas, and this is her first year with the Volunteer Action Center. She grew up volunteering with her mom, which sparked her passion for community involvement and giving back. Alandrea loves being part of the VAC because she enjoys seeing people from all walks of life come together to help the community. She is excited to help plan meaningful events this year and to create a positive, confidence-building experience for everyone involved!

Allie Cline
Logistics Coordinator
Allie serves as the Logistics Coordinator for the Dream BIG program. She is a sophomore majoring in psychology with minors in educational studies and Spanish. Allie is from Bentonville, AR. She started in the Volunteer Action Center her freshman year as a mentor for Dream BIG. Allie loves being involved with the VAC because it has helped her work with her passion toward helping kids, building community, and leaving a positive impact on others!
