Kendall serves as the Chair of the Student Engagement team. He is a Honors College Fellow and Biology major from Fayetteville, Arkansas, and is beginning his second year as a VAC board member. He loves the family that the VAC provides. Still, his favorite part about the VAC is how he gets to see the effects that volunteering has on the non-profit organizations in the Northwest Arkansas community!

Devan is a Senior Honors College Fellow from Maumelle, Arkansas majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Finance and Accounting. He originally joined the VAC upon a suggestion from his close friend and fellow team member Gary Jackson. He currently serves as the Student Engagement Intern and loves how the VAC gives students on campus the opportunity to engage with the Northwest Arkansas community through unique and creative events!

Parker serves as the Volunteer Coordinator for the Student Engagement team. Parker is a senior Bodenhamer Fellow majoring is Psychology with a Medical Humanities minor. Parker first got involved with the VAC as a recovery volunteer for Razorback Food Recover, but he transitioned to Student Engagement to encourage students to get involved with nonprofit organizations in the NWA area. Parker is excited to help students find causes they are passionate about.

Grace Plunkett is the communications coordinator for the Student Engagement team. She is a junior at the University of Arkansas studying Communications. Grace joined the VAC as a sophomore and has found a passion for serving others!

Gary Jackson is a senior Bodenhamer Fellow from Paragould, AR. He is majoring in biology and chemistry and is on the pre-med track. Gary got involved in the VAC at a trail cleanup organized by former freshman service coordinator and current Student Engagement graduate assistant Karina Escobar! Gary is the GY10 Coordinator for the Student Engagement team, and he’s excited to create a feeling of community and belonging and reward volunteers for all of their hard work.

Claire serves as the Find Your Impact Coordinator for the Student Engagement Team. Claire is a biology major with a minor in general business, and is on a pre-dental career track. She is from Shawnee , Kansas. Claire originally learned about the VAC through other service opportunities on campus but wanted to get more involved in leadership. She loves getting to channel her passion for service into helping other students find volunteer opportunities that they can be just as passionate about!

Miceala Morano serves as the Membership Coordinator for the Volunteer Action Center. She is a sophomore majoring in journalism with a focus in multimedia production and storytelling and is originally from West Fork, AR. Miceala first learned about the VAC by serving as a project leader for Make A Difference Day 2022 and joined the board this year. Miceala loves how the VAC fosters community on campus through a shared passion for community service!

Perla Juarez-Escamilla is the Freshman Service Program Coordinator for the Volunteer Action Center. She is a freshman student majoring in Biology. Her past volunteer experiences have reinforced her desire to continue volunteering around her community. She enjoys collaborating with her team members to best serve the razorback and NWA community!
