Chair

Gwen Keith-Powell serves as the Chair of the Jane B. Gearhart Full Circle Food Pantry. She is a junior from Little Rock, Arkansas and is majoring in Environmental, Soil, and Water Science and minoring in Philosophy and Sustainability. Gwen first learned about the VAC during A-Week of her freshman year, after which she began to volunteer in different positions of the pantry. She joined the pantry board her sophomore year and decided to step into the chair position for her junior year so that she could better serve her community. Gwen loves working with the pantry and VAC because she gets to directly help those in need at the University of Arkansas while also meeting other students who are passionate about service.

Avie serves as the Intern for the Jane B. Gearhart Full Circle Food Pantry. Avie is a senior majoring in Data Science with concentrations in Statistics and Social Data Analytics with a minor in Sociology. She is originally from Fayetteville, Arkansas. Avie first got involved with the pantry as a volunteer her sophomore year as a volunteer and served on the board her junior year. She loves that the VAC works to connect students with their community, both on and off campus.

This is Ava Caron and she is from Springfield, Missouri. She is a Junior Human Nutrition and Dietetics major. She is serving on the Pantry board as the Cooking Matters Intern. She joined the board because she loved working at the pantry as a volunteer and wanted to get involved in a bigger role there.

Volunteer Coordinator

Madeline serves as the Volunteer Coordinator for the Full Circle Food Pantry. She is a junior originally from Little Rock, AR majoring in Biochemistry with minors in Spanish and Biology. Madeline began volunteering with the Pantry her freshman year as a front desk volunteer and joined the board this year. She loves encouraging students to volunteer and working with the FCFP team to raise awareness about food insecurity.

Food Drives Coordinator

Caroline is a senior majoring in Supply Chain Management and Economics. She is from Flower Mound, Texas. Caroline started with the VAC as a front desk volunteer her freshman year and has continued volunteering at the pantry since then. This year she is the Food Drives Coordinator and is excited to work with organizations across the community to bring donations to the pantry. Caroline loves connecting with people in all types of organizations to work together in fighting hunger!

Alternative Assistance Coordinator

Paola is a junior majoring in Social Work with a minor in Accounting and originally from Springdale, Arkansas. She first learned about the VAC through involvement in the food pantry as a general volunteer and was inspired to become more involved as a board member after seeing the passion for service within the VAC. She serves as the Alternative Assistance Coordinator, and she is looking forward to expanding outreach and education to the campus community regarding food resources. She loves collaborating with the dedicated members of the pantry team to see impactful projects come to fruition.

Front Desk Assistant

Keiko serves as the front desk assistant  for the Full Circle Food Pantry. She is a sophomore majoring in International Business and grew up in Rogers, Arkansas. This year, Keiko joined the food pantry driven by her desire to give back and make a difference in the community. She is excited to use her multilingual skills to better connect with and assist diverse community members. Working alongside her team, Keiko looks forward to making a meaningful impact in the NWA area.
