Inspired by the design of the Dream BIG Program, Be BOLD was developed in 2020 to extend the benefits of mentorship to men at the University of Arkansas. By volunteering with Be BOLD, men at the U of A have the opportunity to form mentorship relationships with a student at J.O. Kelly Middle School in Springdale, Arkansas, creating an impact in the lives of their mentees. Mentors meet with their mentees at Hang Time sessions that offer unique curriculum centered around education, communication, and encouragement.
