Jack is a senior Computer Science major from Rogers, AR. After being a mentor for Be B.O.L.D. his junior year, he decided to try his hand as Chair of the program to see if he could help develop it further. He got involved with the VAC sophomore year after the recommendations of a few friends. Since then, he’s served as VAC’s GivePulse Intern. When he’s not working with the VAC, he loves to rock climb, write code, or curl up with a good book. The thing he loves most about working with Be B.O.L.D. is getting to see the kids’ faces light up when they enter the J.O Kelly Library and see their mentor.

Drews Brister, a first-year law student from Hot Springs, Arkansas, is a dedicated individual who has a passion for community service. Serving as an intern for BeBOLD, a commendable mentorship program focused on empowering young boys, Drews has chosen this role to give back to his community. His heart is deeply invested in making a positive impact on the next generation of boys, emphasizing essential life skills like staying active and mastering practical tasks such as changing a tire.

Lincoln Bartelt serves as the Matching Coordinator for Be BOLD. He is a senior majoring in Economics and International Studies. He  is from Shawnee, Kansas. Lincoln learned about the VAC early on in his freshman year and  is excited to be on the board this year to help support mentors and mentees in the Be Bold Program.

Jack Bunyard serves as the Communications Coordinator on Be BOLD. Jack is a junior majoring in Political Science and History. He is originally from De Queen, Arkansas. Jack chose to be Comms Coordinator to use it as an outlet for creativity while serving others! Jack loves how Be BOLD fosters mentorship relationships and helps teach young men important and meaningful communication and leadership skills.

Edward Onisei serves as one of the Curriculum Coordinator for the VAC’s Be B.O.L.D. team. Edward is a Junior majoring in Biochemistry and is on the pre-med track. He is from Little Rock, Arkansas. He found out about the VAC his freshman year through board members of the time and joined the following year. He is excited to create curriculums that can be both informative and fun for the middle schoolers. Edward loves the passion that the VAC has for serving others and how his team is able to connect kids with positive role models.

Drew Serves as the Logistics Coordinator for Be B.O.L.D. He is a sophomore majoring in Biomedical Engineering from North Little Rock, Arkansas. Drew first learned about the VAC after Make a Difference Day and decided to join the board his sophomore year. He is looking forward to making an impact on students at J.O. Kelly Middle School.
